Can you believe that August is here already? Beat the heat by coming out to Lodge! It's a great place for fellowship and mingling with men that have the same interests as you!
The Steak Fry fundraiser was a huge success and - being our first real fundraiser in a long time - the turnout was outstanding. I would like to thank all the brothers and even a few that haven't even joined for all their help. Fundraising is a good way to raise money for our Lodge, to fund those projects and events without affecting the lodge general fund or investments.
The dues we pay each year fund those projects as well. Over half of your annual dues first of all go to Grand Lodge and the remainder provides the financial assets that keep our lodge running effectively. Lodge dues should be paid on or before January 1 of each year, but about 25% of our lodge is yet to contact our secretary and make arrangements for their 2011 obligation. You may have merely forgotten, or been traveling and working very hard, or maybe the current economic situation has left you to seek other arrangements. Please make it a priority to contact the Lodge and make those arrangements or ask about your options. Anaheim Lodge values each and every one of it's members and hopes that you feel the same about your lodge.
