Brethren,
I can hardly believe October is already here! This month at our Stated Meeting we will be presenting a Golden Veteran Award to Brother William Findley. This is a truly fantastic accomplishment for our brother to have reached 50 years in Masonry. We also have our Hiram Award Ceremony this month for Brother Hugo Ramos. Just another in a long line of deserving recipients at Anaheim. These men have dedicated so much of their time to benefit our Lodge and never ask for anything in return.
The remaining Wednesdays in October, we will either have degree practice or degrees. I am hoping that some of our brothers that have received their Entered Apprentice and Fellowcraft degrees will be ready to gain further light. I hope that many of you find the time to come out and watch - or even participate - we would love to see you there.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Brethren of Anaheim lodge for giving the Wardens and I the opportunity to attend and represent Anaheim at this year's Grand Lodge Communication. This was a great opportunity to meet up with Brother Phil Collins, PM, who is working in the area. It is really wonderful to travel so far from home and see so many Brothers you know. Of course it would not have been a trip to Grand Lodge without seeing Worshipful Brother Norm Leeper. He was in his usual place, enlightening the Brothers with many great books on Masonry and it's history.
