My Brethren,

This year has really moved on and I am very proud to say the Brothers of Anaheim Lodge #207 have made this year a year full of fond and memorable memories.  The success of the Lodge has been in your hands and with the strong uniting of families and community involvement; these treasures will be those moments in time never to be forgotten.

October 5th is our Stated Meeting and dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.  The dinner will be served by a renowned caterer so do not miss this event.  Along with dinner will be entertainment in the Lodge room after dinner so mark your calendars for a great night of truly great activities.

Future dates that should be kept in mind are:

1) Hiram Award and dinner in honor of our newest inductee, Brother Hugo Ramos.  Saturday, October 8th.  Dinner at 6:30 pm.  Prime rib will be served.  Ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm at the Lodge.

2) Scottish Rite - Our Brother Worshipful Ed Roberts will be receiving his "Red Hat" at the Scottish Rite Center in San Diego on the 15th of October at 2:00 pm.

3) Reagan Library Trip on the 4th of November.  Flyers will be passed out at the stated meeting.  Price for the trip will be $36.00 per person, which includes the bus trip from the Lodge in Anaheim and return.  The tour bus will leave the Lodge at 9:00 am and return by 5:00 pm the same day.  Make your reservations early.  Call Agnes Porter (714) 526-6576 or Ron Salda (714) 771-4441.

The 162nd Annual communications held the last weekend in September at Grand Lodge in San Francisco was really a time to remember.  Our newest Grand Master, Frank Louie the 146th Grand Master for California has chosen Education of our youth as special project for the year.  Each Lodge’s theme will be "Raise a Reader" which should provide new emphasis on our Lodge to help educate our youth of the community.

Hope to see you at our Stated Meeting and continuing to build our Brotherhood in the Lodge and community.

Fraternally,

Ronald E. Salda, PM
Junior Warden
