From the West - April 2011

E-mail Print PDF

Brethren,

As we enter April, I wanted to take this time to reflect on how we - as Masons and as men - view commitment.

As Masons, we make a very personal commitment to the fraternity; we commit to each other, and we commit to Masonic principles that will ultimately enrich our lives, and the lives of all of those we know.  This builds a bond of fellowship that cannot be easily broken.

As men, we commit to our families, our community, our business and our country.  The bonds we build through these commitments strengthen our world, and benefit those who depend on us and on whom we depend.

During this sacred season, we - as Men and as Masons - should take a moment to consider the commitments we have made.  As we gather together to watch our children collect Easter eggs, or while we sit in our churches and contemplate the sacrifice - the commitment - one man made 2,000 years ago for us and for our salvation, or while we celebrate Passover, or while we simply come together for a meal on Easter Sunday take the time to think about all that we do for each other, and the bonds we have made.

This year is a rebuilding year at Anaheim Lodge No. 207.  Your Lodge officers have made a commitment to you to make sure that we improve our Lodge and our communications with our Brethren.  We are working every month bring members back into the Lodge room.  To help us accomplish this goal, we're launching a campaign to make sure that we have the most up-to-date contact information so that we can keep you informed about our upcoming events.  If you could take a moment and send us an email address, or let us know if you've changed your phone number or address, we'll update our records and make sure you are included in all of our communications.  Drop a line to me at: 714-491-2600, or email the Lodge at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
