Brethren,
We are entering that special time of the year when we gather our friends, family and fraternity together, and give thanks for the many blessings in our lives.
A man is known by the company he keeps, and in Freemasonry, that holds doubly true as we are both men and Brothers. This year, our Lodge has kept good company and built well on the solid bedrock laid by our many members dating back to 1871, when our Lodge took it's first step toward further light in Masonry in Anaheim, California. This year we have really come together as a Lodge, and our commitment to our Brethren and ourselves has been a great success story for us.
This is my last article from the West. As such, I want to thank all of our Officers for pulling together to make this a great year for our Master, Kevin Stibich. In just one short month, all of your Officers will be moving up a chair, and I will be moving to the East. I am honored that the Lodge has elected me to serve as Master for 2012, and I look forward to continuing on the path that our Lodge as set, and I firmly believe that with your involvement, we can continue to make a profound difference.
I also can't help but notice that - since the election - Kevin has had a bounce in his step and a smile on his face that just won't go away. Almost as if a great weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
Come out to our December Stated Meeting on December 7, 2011 and see how far the Lodge has come this year. And don't forget that on December 14th Anaheim Lodge will be having it's annual Holiday Dinner. Come out and join your fellow Lodge members for an evening of fun and entertainment!
May peace and harmony be with you daily.
Ray Dailey,
Senior Warden
