Craig and I traveled up the mountain Sat. morning with light traffic and glorious weather. A portent of a great day. We arrived at Rim-of-the-World lodge in time for an excellent breakfast and visited with the Master, who gave us a short history of the lodge and the 711 Jeep club. The lodge opened and both degrees were excellent, given the rarified air at over a mile high blew out a couple of synapses here and there. We had lunch and tried to keep awake in the afternoon. What really kept me awake was the excellent long form lecture given word perfect, a real treat. Afterwards, we joined Orange Grove in an outstanding BBQ and fellowship. Those that stayed got into a real festive mood, Craig and I left feeling delighted and refreshed having participated in such a happy gathering of Masons and their families.

Anaheim Lodge Gives To Language Center |
The Brethren of Anaheim Lodge no. 207 made a contribution of several thousand dollars to the Santa Ana Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center. This fund will be used to treat a child that has a speech disorder 2 - 3 hours a week for approximately 10 weeks. The pathologists at the center treat children ages 2 - 18 who are challenged by a wide variety of learning, speech and language disorders. The Santa Ana Clinic has been open since 2001 and serves the greater Orange County area. Anaheim Lodge no. 207 has shown that it is more then a brick building, it's a Fraternity, a group of men, that believe together they make the difference in the lives others. |

In the January Trestle Board for Anaheim Lodge #207 an article titled "Knock, Knock, Knock" containing a spam/chain email and unciphered ritual was submitted by a third party and published as an article from Shawn Bell, Chaplain of the Lodge. Shawn Bell had NOTHING to do with this article, and a retraction should appear in the March, 2010 Trestle Board. |

A Steward is someone who takes on a responsibility to care for something owned by someone else and to do it of their own free will and accord. So, we as Brothers of the Lodge are Stewards of the Lodge and I again want to sincerely thank all those Stewards who pitched in to make the February 3rd dinner such a successful event. I especially want to thank the Mason Ladies, Daughters, Sons and non-Mason guests who rallied round. Worshipful Maxwell had a wonderful & moving presentation shared by all. |
